Under the directives of Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, the Humanitarian Action Cell (HAC) carried out an emergency response to aid those affected by the tidal surge in Dhubab–Al-Mandab District. On Tuesday, the Humanitarian Action Cell provided urgent relief assistance to families impacted by the tidal surge in Dhubab–Al-Mandab District, west of Taiz Governorate, in implementation of the directives of Deputy Chairman Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh and with generous support from the Emirates Red Crescent. The Director General of Dhubab–Al-Mandab District, Abdulqawi Al-Wajih, praised Brigadier General Tariq Saleh’s efforts in supporting the affected and needy families, appreciating his swift response by directing the Humanitarian Action Cell to deliver immediate aid upon receiving appeals from local authorities and district residents. He also commended the joint committee of the Humanitarian Cell and Coast Guard for assessing the damage and submitting necessary reports. Al-Wajih extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Emirates Red Crescent for its continuous support to the Yemeni people and its ongoing commitment to alleviating their suffering. Meanwhile, the residents of Dhubab–Al-Mandab expressed their deep gratitude to Brigadier General Tariq Saleh and the Emirates Red Crescent for their continuous support and standing by them in all aspects of life. The distribution operation was attended by several executive office directors, sheikhs, dignitaries, and district residents.
